 And.... we're back.

It’s a funny old world, the BMX one I mean. We’ve seen more twists and turns than a John le CarrĂ© novel these last few years.

The market has changed dramatically and that route to market is almost beyond recognition. This brings us to today, and we are proud to again be importing ColonyBMX into the UK - we’ve been here before, of course, back in 2008. So when, having been round the houses, Colony found itself again without a home, I reached out to Clint, came up with a plan to relaunch Colony here slowly and surely. Tom Justice coming on board was a huge coup for the brand and then Mark Webb wanted to ride a Colony frame, and you will have no doubt seen the amazing footage from him on Colony at FISE recently.

We will be carrying as much of the Colony line as possible but bear with us while we figure out what works best in the UK and we will ensure that stuff is kept available. They have a really solid line of well-loved components, some popular frames and a line of really well-specced and competitively-priced bikes, including the class-leading aluminium Horizon kids bikes in sizes 14 to 18” (Tom Justice’s lad has been riding and loving the 14”), Flatland specific completes/parts, chrome rims and the popular Colony Wasp Hubs.

Unbelievably, Colony is now 20 years old, and 2025 is their anniversary, so there are some limited edition colourways like Rose Gold and throwback products in the 2025 line. There is a special Anniversary video for release this Summer launching at Hard Yards in Australia.

The shipment is just about to leave Taiwan and we expect it to arrive mid-August, just in time for the Summer and in plenty of time for Christmas.

We have a full B2B on the way, but in the meanwhile, UK dealers contact Tom on 01942 826598.

PRESS RELEASE Tabletop Distribution to carry Legendary BMX Brands - Hutch and Kashimax

Hutch Hi-Performance BMX Products
After many years of hard work from the new owners, the legendary Hutch BMX brand is back. It is fair to say Hutch invented "high end" BMX products in the 1980's with every kid aspiring to own one. Hutch was one of the first American companies to offer a complete product line outside of frames & forks as they went on to produce a number of ground-breaking products including the Beartrap pedals, Aerospeed cranks, Ladder bars, Donut seatclamp and 2in1 headlock.

While the new Pro Racer frame and fork takes all the visual cue's from the original (looptail, Hutch brake bridge, etc) it is made to be raced. With modern geometry, V-brake mounts, a neat Tange MX-125 inspired Integrated headtube and a choice of 20.5", 21 or 21.5" toptube lengths it ticks all the boxes. RRP is £425.00.

Tabletop will initially offer to dealers throughout Europe Hutch Pro Racer 20" frame & fork sets, handlebars and headsets which are in transit now expected December. Dealer pre-order forms are available now for this limited run.

Tabletop's Alan Woods said:
I flew out to meet with Hutch's new owners in Wisconsin back in April and have to say it couldn't be in better hands. It's taken a heck of a lot to get everything to come together for this brand to exist again. While the line acknolweges it's roots, the brand is also relevant for the modern market and we look forward to taking this brand into the future.

Kashimax Saddles
Kashimax was one of the best known BMX brands in the 1980's and their saddles were OEM on many bikes. Made to highest standard still in Japan these will appeal to the fixed wheel crowd as well as the large number of BMX restorer's here in the UK. The BMX Aero is right up there as a BMX icon along with Araya rims, Shimano DX pedals and Comp III tyres.

New and existing accounts are encouraged to get in touch now via sales@tabletopdistribution.com or 01942 244999 for the new price list.
